2023-24 Wrestling Season

2023-24 PRACTICES: Practices will start Tuesday, November 28th at Olathe Northwest Highschool. Practice Locations: Tuesdays - Olathe Northwest HS wrestling room Thursdays - Olathe West HS wrestling room. ***Wrestlers should be attending both Tuesday and Thursday practices.***Bronze from 6:00 – 7:00: (previously called Novice) Elementary aged kids who have less than two years experience of club practice.
Silver from 7:15 – 8:45: (previously called Open) Elementary aged kids who have at least two years experience of club practice, OR are Middle School age. Middle schoolers must be in the Silver Program regardless of experience.
VOLUNTEER COACHING: In order to have our club at an affordable price we need volunteer assistant coaches. Having experience with wrestling is great but not required. Coach Sander and White will provide the technical aspects, so just being a helping adult goes a long way. To be a coach you must complete the Safesport Certification online course, a simple background check, and purchase the Wrestling Leadership Membership. The club will reimburse you for all expenses. USA WRESTLING CARD: You MUST purchase your child’s USA Wrestling Card. This is a requirement to practice. This is also purchased at https://www.usawmembership.com/ Detailed instruction in the Documents section below.2023-24 Volunteer Opportunities : Volunteers are vital to our club and required. There is a range of ongoing volunteer opportunities and one night a season opportunities.
